NIX is an artist based out of Tamaki Makarau, Aotearoa. Their work caters to the gothic and marcarbe, juxtapositioned against cartoon and kawaii motifs. NIX combines their background in animation with their interest in death and the concept of Momento Mori.
Other themes include: the sciences, astronomy, biology, emotives, religious iconigraphy etc.

The artist works both privately and publically, with several pieces -including installations- being displayed and sold to raise money for charities. Including; Child Cancer Foundation, Black Sheep Sanctuary and the WWF.
